Can we check-in early?
Providing our clean team have an extra pair of hands available you can check-in two hours earlier so 1pm. The cost for an early check-in is £25.
Can we check-out late?
Providing our clean team have an extra pair of hands available you can check-out two hours later so midday.The cost for a late check-out is £25.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes. You can park off the road immediately outside of The Old Sunday School porch door.
Can we walk our dog in the rear field?
Yes. Our kind farmer friend has granted access to this field for our guests to excercise their dogs. Please respect our neighbour's privacy by not walking along the higher boundary and please bag up any dog waste.
Where is the nearest train station?
Gunnislake is the nearest train station. Most guests that travel by train transfer to a connecting train at Plymouth Station. Jay or Lisa may be able to collect you from Gunnislake, but if not The Old Sunday School is less than a 10 minute taxi journey away.
Can you arrange a custom occassion package?
Yes. We regularly put on welcome packages which can include balloons, cake, banners, petals, champagne, fresh flowers, chocolates and more. Just email Jay for more info and prices.
Is the patio area fenced off and dog-proof?
No. To maximise the beautiful views we have decided to leave the rear wall unfenced. You will see from the photos on our gallery page that there is a small boundary wall which overlooks the field. The field is around 5 feet below the wall. Most dogs including our beagles do not look to jump this wall. Guests that prefer to not take the risk lead their dogs in this area.
Where are the nearest shops?
Harrowbarrow has a Post Office a short walk down the road which provides basic necessities. For a more substantial shop Tesco in Callington is just over a 5 minute drive away. Tavistock has some lovely shops with a well stocked pannier market that our guests regularly enjoy visiting.
